Statement of Purpose
First, I want to thank you, the reader for visiting. This is my new website. It isn’t finished yet. My web developer and I are still deciding how to make it appealing to readers. I am open to suggestions.
This website will show excerpts of my writing, my works in progress, and will have links to purchase anything that I have already published. However, I do not want to be a “salesman.”
There will be times when I will offer things for free. I just need to find out how to create things that are downloadable for the reader.
I hope to develop a newsletter to keep those interested as to what is new in my life and any events that may be coming up.
One of the many things I enjoy doing is cooking–not gourmet cooking mind you, just down-home, simple, country cooking.
My husband and I live in a motorhome and pull a Jeep behind when we travel. You can read about our travels on my blog. I can share travel tips and recipes, talk about books I’ve read and enjoyed, as well as natural remedies for healthy living (things that work for me: I’m not an expert).
Most of all, I want to connect with other readers and writers. I write inspirational fiction but, like my role model, Francine Rivers, I write about life situations and how God helps us through.
I am willing to help promote other authors as long as their books do not contain profanity or erotic scenes. I also don’t do horror.
Tell me what you think. What would you like to see in a website such as this? What kinds of freebies would appeal to you: a bookmark, recipe? I also enjoy rock hounding, crocheting, making my own greeting cards, and making pine needle baskets. I’m not saying I’m good at any of these things, but they do bring enjoyment to my life and the lives of those who receive them as gifts.
Leave a comment. If for some reason, it doesn’t work here, you can leave one on my blog: TheKingsKidChronicles.
Have a blessed day.
